In the Gym

We’ve updated the gym to make it more functional, comfortable, and inspiring for your workouts. Here’s what we’ve done:

• Reorganized the equipment to create a more spacious, open feel.

• Added new kettlebells, racks, and a wider variety of equipment for classes.

• Extended our opening hours, giving those who need it, the ultimate flexibility.

• Serviced machines and air conditioning to ensure everything runs smoothly and keeps you comfortable.

• Installed a roller blind on the front window and a fan above Court 2 to improve the environment for group classes.

• Introduced a new tag system to track hours more efficiently.

• And, of course, we’ve added security cameras to ensure your continued safety and peace of mind.

On the Squash Courts

For our squash enthusiasts, we’ve gone above and beyond to make the courts and programs world-class:

• We’ve introduced training squads, a weekly box competition, and round-robin events to give you more opportunities to play and compete.

• Welcomed Pushppa Devi, a renowned Malaysian coach, as a full-time addition to our coaching team based at Elanora.

• Hosted incredible events like the 2024 Elanora Open, the Club Championships, and a World-class exhibition with top 10 world players, what an experience that was!

• Restored Court 6 for regular use and completed repairs across all courts, including fixing tins, patching lines, and upgrading lighting for better visibility.

• Expanded opportunities for kids to play squash and enhanced our School Holiday Camps and School Sports programs to inspire the next generation of players.

• Introduced timed tournaments for more structured competition and added multi-sport options like table tennis, volleyball, pickleball, badminton, and basketball.

• Improved cleanliness by steam cleaning the floors and decluttering the common areas.

• Added thoughtful touches like bag storage, new shelving, water bubblers, scales in the bathrooms, and even locks on the courts to preserve their condition.

At The Racquet Club

We know the social side of the club is just as important as the fitness side, which is why we’ve made some fantastic upgrades to The Racquet Club:

• We hired Chef Morgan to elevate the dining experience and revamped the menu to better align with the club’s healthy sports theme.

• Added weekly specials, happy hour, and new cocktails to the drinks menu.

• Hosted live music every Friday to create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.

• Redesigned the seating area for better flow and added darts in the bar area for a bit of extra fun.

• Partnered with booking companies like First Table and Groupon to make it easier for you to enjoy everything we offer.

• And for families, we’ve added kids’ toys, colouring pencils, and paper to make sure everyone feels at home.

• The opportunity for families to come down to the club for our kids eat free evening on Saturdays.

• Hosting family friendly club events, such as Australia Day, Easter, Anzac Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day for the local community.
